Plot.
To receive his fiancée and his father at his home, an Oxford student counts on the presence of his aunt from Brazil to serve as his chaperone. The latter having delayed his trip, the young man es his servant off as his aunt. This results in multiple misunderstandings. Finally, everything works out when the aunt comes.

Charley's Aunt (French: La marraine de Charley) is a 1936 French comedy film directed by Pierre Colombier and starring Lucien Baroux, Olly von Flint and Monique Rolland. It is based on the 1892 play Charley's Aunt by Brandon Thomas. The film's sets were designed by the art director Jacques Colombier.
