Julien Christian Lutz, known as Director X, is an acclaimed Canadian music video director, renowned for his collaborations with Drake, Rihanna, and Kendrick Lamar. Transitioning to filmmaking, he debuted with the Sony studio feature 'Superfly' produced by Joel Silver. Julien's art installations for Toronto’s Nuit Blanche, like 'Death of The Sun,' showcased in Drake’s tour, highlight his artistic depth. His current venture, 'Robyn Hood,' reimagines the classic tale with a modern, socially conscious twist, set to premiere on Global in 2023. Beyond his creative pursuits, Julien champions social change, founding Operation Prefrontal Cortex to tackle gun violence through mindfulness.
